If there are any other noobs interested in this wonderful coin:

PCGS #: 8514  DESIGNER: Bela Lyon Pratt EDGE: Reeded DIAMETER: 21.60 millimeters WEIGHT: 8.36 grams MINTAGE: 3,423,560 MINT: Denver METAL: 90% Gold, 10% Copper

1909-D $5 (Regular Strike) Indian $5 - PCGS CoinFacts

I know nothing about grading but the prices quoted in the above link for a graded version are a lot higher than the seller's asking price. This coin also looks in great condition

Thank you for sharing and there is indeed some useful information contained within your comment to budding collectors and enthusiasts.

I used to sell these around £550. Market has moved and is much stronger for these Indian head types, and hardly surprising. Superb design and the example on offer is a very nice piece.

I have several other Indian heads available on my website here: https://worldgold.co.uk/shop-1
