what gloves to handle pm?

I think when you see some members with gloves on, if it is not a proof coin or silver, then it is more likely that they do not want to show their hands.

If you are handling bullion gold, then hold them in your hands as they will not be harmed. Think about it, most of these older coins have been handled for hundreds of years, have been dug up from the ground or found in a ship wreck, the grease on your hands will not damaged them.

I used to worry about touching my silver, but now I just throw them things in tubes with my bare hands. You can buy cheap white cotton gloves off amazon which do the job though if you have any (silver) proofs or special bullion coins you want to keep clean. As for gold, I've never had much of that to touch being not very rich. 😛

But the little I have I just fondle it, gold is pretty good at not caring very much about what it comes into contact with. Unless you have gold proofs, then wear gloves for sure, or as others have said, try not to handle them at all.
