closed Early Georgian Sterling Silver Tray - Very Beautiful and Equally heavy - Circa 1913

Recommended Posts

I have for sale a lovely Early Georgian Sterling Silver Tray.

Hallmarked with Chester marks and attributed to the Barker Brothers, this is one of the finest that I have come across. The tray has scrolled handles and is raised on four hoof feet. Absolute royalty this.

The Tray seems to be in lovely condition, but I personally feel that it would be more spectacular if it were polished. It is over 2 feet in length and weights well over 3 kgs. Hallmark dates to 1913. Priced at £2300. One of the pics has a box of silver Krugs for size comparison.

I would also consider a swap for mint Brits (both gold and silver) and sovs. Postage is on top and at cost. Payment is by bank transfer. Collection in person may be possible if you are in South London.

Thanks all for looking.

* Kindly contact me to check the stock as sometimes I list on other sites and some items might have already sold.
