Thank you all for a good debate. Is there anyway we could start a post listing fake sellers on ebay. The more experienced can spot these easily. I have zero experiance but can spot some.

There are already a few threads about this.   I think one of them is called "binlord of the week" or something..🤣

Thank you your reply since Deuc informed of the fake bullion site I have since spent my evening looking around fleabay at different coins and there finer details.

I came across an advert selling obviously freshly printed certificates of authenticity, It beggars belief that ebay let this carry on.

It is a real dark art spotting fakes.

ebay will pretty much let you sell anything unless it could kill someone and they could be seen as complicit.

So nuclear weapons, CO2 detectors, bad.

Knock off Swiss watches, knock off precious metals, knock off pretty much anything good.

Seriously, I "know" a chap who peddles replica watches on ebay after acquiring them from a well known online dealer of replica watches: idiots bid them up, he doubles or better his money everytime and the numpties buying give good feedback as they wouldn't know a knock off watch from a lamp shade. Has he been reported? Many times... ebay rather like their 10% of the action!
