Hello from sunny Cyprus

Hello all,

I am an expat from the uk living and working in Cyprus 32yrs old.

after many years of buying whiskey for investment I have decided to change to gold silver and other metals for investment.

Just won a coin on eBay from europeanmint.com I got this as a test purchase from them. 

Over the last few months I have been working too much and have had some overtime money come through and want to use it for some good investment.

No, I don't live there but I like the lifestyle .... and the weather, so I head there are few times each year.

The shop is called KDG gold and seems to be owned by some Russians. Its still far cheaper to buy silver from places like Goldsilver.de but I think Gold is more comparable. Its nice for a bit of window shopping anyway. I might be wrong but I believe quite a few Cypriots invested in Gold and Silver after the banks took from their accounts during the crisis (something I want to read up on as it could happen anywhere).
