This should be more helpful.  I am trying to find out about these figurine I inherited, they were my grandfathers around 1923.  Here are pictures of markings and of the figurines.

The mark is the Halbmond und Reichskrone, which is a German mark that came into use in the 1886 and then used to mark German Silver from 1888.

A similar pair of the Knights sold at Auction a few years back For $1750;

Same base and if yours weighs Around the 14 to 17 troy oz probably from the same collection/company if the marks are similar.

Good quality Knights have an Ivory face and hands (some however are made from bone which is probably more ethical now a days).

Please don't clean them, as you will halve the amount of people who want to collect them, and you can really destroy the price .

There is an American woman who collects these and had them polished to an inch off their lives, really looked awful. (I think it is Barry Weiss s' Mother).

These are for sale on Ebay;

The Cavalier would need more research, as have never really saw the Cresent and Crown with a 980 and to have  Silver content that high is really good,

The biggest majority are called German Silver Knights so it will give you a Start in the search.

I hope this helps, however you would probably have to just check if all my info is correct, just to make sure.
