As you're in the UK the first thing you need to be aware of is that you don't have to pay VAT on silver.

Yes I'm aware now, rushed into my first buy and paid alot more than I should of. Looking at silver to go and some of there coin bars they have, I do love bars. Thanks for the heads up

Lots of places to buy coin bars, they are my favourite form of physical silver. Kilos are the lowest premium, silberling.de are where I bought all of mine so far. Need to pay in euros with them though. Some companies are cheaper than others so make sure you shop around.
