Description

A rare sight to see.  This is for a full complete set of 1/10 lunar series 1 gold coins & custom display case

Rarely do you see these come up in the UK these days as single coins, as this series came out when when stacking we not popular in the in the late 90s early 2000s.  Very hard to build up a complete set, you will often have to source these coins from Germany or native Australia, with the incurred airmail & import fees.

I have them available to get in one foul swoop, inlcuding the mega rare ones.  Some of the mintages of these are tiny

Beautiful collection glws

Thanks - I picked them from our own forum Panda expert @DavePanda way back in 2013 and he told me on the phone then it took him over a year then to source them all  from various dealers & auctions overseas. Cant see it being any easier these days with how popular stacking has became since then

Wow, was it that long ago? 😳😳😳 OMG, so that is why an old man looks back at me in the mirror! Where does the time go?

Still looks a great collection today and a super opportunity to pick up a lovely, very hard to source, complete set. I cannot see these being anything but a great store of value going forward.

Good luck with the sale Paul.

Cheers

Thanks Dave - yeah, my spreadsheet shows it was early 2013, one of my first bigger gold purchases with your good self, when we first dealt on eBay before the forum launched

Now that in a nutshell is what’s wrong it me, I don’t keep spreadsheets 😀, relying on my ever diminishing memory doesn’t seem like a great plan going forward!!

I remember us striking the deal, if I had to of estimated the date, I would of gone for 2016..

Hope they sell as a set and someone else gets the enjoyment that we had owning these coins.

Here’s to another decade in this fascinating hobby!

Cheers Paul
