Hello all,

As a (fairly) newer member with premium membership (Gold tier), I'm looking to purchase a 2021 Gold Sovereign Bullion coin and a 2021 1/4 (0.25)oz Gold Britannia Bullion coin (Preferably in a capsule and in great condition). Happy to purchase individuially or as a reasonable price deal for both coins.

Would also be potentially up for trading my 2021 2oz Silver Proof Britannia (Limited presentation of 250) as part of this arangement if someone is interested.

Please contact me with a fair offer & I'd happily (Circumstances dependant) be more than comfortable engaing in dialogue and completing this transaction over the forum in whichever way the seller desires.

*See my current feedback/acitvity for two purchases I have currently made since joining in September 2021 this year.*

Best regards,
Deathace.

EDIT: If you can also provide pictures also before purchase, this would be a massive impact on my purchasing persuasion.

Does it have to be a 2021 version ?

The above Sov at £225 plus post is good value

Agreed, but I already have a 2020 Sov and I'm looking to start a date run for my Sov's & Brit's.

Here's my gold (Bullion) collection so far and what I need to complete:

Date Coin Type Year Price
01/07/2021 Sovereign 2020 Gold Bullion Coin 2020 £33*.**
25/08/2021 Britannia 2020 1/4 oz Gold Bullion Coin 2020 £36*.**
25/08/2021 Britannia 2021 1/10 oz Gold Bullion Coin 2021 £15*.**
30/08/2021 Britannia 2020 1/10 oz Gold Bullion Coin 2020 £16*.**
15/11/2021 Sovereign 2022 Proof Coin 2022 £58*.**
15/11/2021 Sovereign 2022 Three-Coin Gold Proof Set 2022 £95*.**
Sovereign 2021 Gold Bullion Coin 2021 TBC
Britannia 2021 1/4 oz Gold Bullion Coin 2021 TBC
Britannia 2022 1/10 oz Gold Bullion Coin 2022 TBC
Britannia 2022 1/4 oz Gold Bullion Coin 2022 TBC
Sovereign 2022 Gold Bullion Coin 2022 TBC

The proof's for 2022 were a bonus after getting sucked into the hype (and throughily enjoying it!), only intended to collect bulions for each year from 2020 onward. Only started stacking in June this year.

Right thanks for the explanation, my opinion is that you should NOT bother with a date run on the bullion sovs and Britannias you may be paying unnecessary premium just to get that specific year. On the proofs I understand the date run but on the bullion sovs and Brits which are mass produced i personally would swerve it.

When I first started I had the intention off doing a Brit date run too but then with some advice from a mate on the forum @vicamy I scrapped the date run plan and just bought as low as possible for bullion.

don't let me spoil your plan, it's just food for thought.

I really appreciate your advice and I'm inclinded to agree with you. If the coins premiums aren't too far above the standard premimum for these coins and I can get them to satisfy my OCD (Not sure I can say this anymore?), then I understand that I may not always be getting the best value for money per oz. However, it's just something I wish to do during my stacking / collecting journey, and I was too late to get them directly from The Royal Mint.

Once again I really do appreciate the advice and thank you for the input as it's what I'm here for in this community.
