Hi all,

 

I found out about this forum from the DogSoldier1973 channel on youtube.  We like to flip silver seminumis and stack low premium gold as a rule.  We prefer coins to bullion bars/rounds but when vintage silver bullion can be had near spot buy that to flip too.  I hope to learn more about older European silver/gold circulated coins, as well as older proof sets from the members here.  I also just wanted to connect with more people with similar interests

Hi SS. I used to collect European silver, so I may be of some use to you.

I only used to collect crown sized and german silver, before I swapped to bullion.

Do you keep any silver or flip it all for gold?

We flip roughly 80 percent of the seminumi silver we acquire.  We also stack a bit of low premium silver (OPM Rounds primarily) on dips and we do try to get a tube of ASEs every year, but mostly we prefer to hold gold long term, for as cheap as we can get it.

Hi!  I agree, I considered that too.  I'll start a hangout thread and upate it before every hangout, to invite people in.  I'm always saying to CyberCurtainTwitcher how much I enjoy chatting with the folks in the UK.  Hopefully some people from elsewhere in Europe wil find their way into the hangout like a Turkish born guy in Holland did last weekend.
