If you buy from a GB dealer there will be VAT included in the price. There was before Brexit. i presume now the UK VAT would not be charged but at the Irish border Irish VAT would be charged. Irish VAT is 23% it seems, which is higher than in the UK at 20%.
Perhaps for small orders it was cheaper to buy from GB but i would have thought it would be much cheaper to buy from the usual sources in the EU for anything above that.

Always cast your vote - Spoil your ballot slip. Put 'Spoilt Ballot - I do not consent.' These votes are counted. If you do not do this you are consenting to the tyranny. None of them are fit for purpose.
A tyranny relies on propaganda and force. Once the propaganda fails all that's left is force.

Does anyone know if us Irish can buy from UK now without paying big fees.

I bought previously from UK dealers, maybe Ill be sticking with Germany now.

Since Ireland is an EU country all goods move freely without tax and customs within the EU.
You are fortunate that you can buy from Estonia, Belgium and Germany and only be charged differential VAT which is minimal.
We in the UK are now outside the EU so get hit with 20% VAT.
In theory a UK dealer should export silver without charging VAT but if your VAT on silver is say 23% that's what you will pay on import.
Once VAT is added in the EU country that's issuing the invoice that's the end of the matter so if in Estonia VAT is 0% then you pay 0%.
