I bet Pete will read the title of this thread and be weeping even before the page has loaded

I haven't read the thread.

Well beyond "weeping " stage nowadays - run out of tears, turned to dry salt !
One of several very poor investment decisions I made stacking silver.

At current prices I'd be surprised if they would make much profit, if any from this.  That is a lot of dirt to work through and how many processes does it require?

I'm minded to agree, although I'm hedging my bets both ways. Excess at each month gets split 50% cash deposit, 50% PMs.

That way, even if PMs fall, I'm buying on the way down and I can sell on the way back up. Meanwhile, a cash pile builds for buying cheap equities and company paper, when those markets correct.
