Well beyond "weeping " stage nowadays - run out of tears, turned to dry salt !

At current prices I'd be surprised if they would make much profit, if any from this.  That is a lot of dirt to work through and how many processes does it require?

I really can't get excited about precious metals at the moment,it looks as if deflation is going to bite.

The best course of action is to clear debt or if you have no debt just stack cash and wait.

I'm minded to agree, although I'm hedging my bets both ways. Excess at each month gets split 50% cash deposit, 50% PMs.

 

That way, even if PMs fall, I'm buying on the way down and I can sell on the way back up. Meanwhile, a cash pile builds for buying cheap equities and company paper, when those markets correct.
