I've noticed that gold/silver gets more volatile(bigger dips) as the stock market wants to make highs and

is also getting volatile/overbought. similar to what happened in early 2020. it like pm's is indicating that

stock is due a top of some sort.

just checked bullion by post for a latest price and the charts flat lined like at the end of trade at weekend , then theyve now plunged and re started live pricing , big plunge on both gold and silver  , what happened?

Well spotted!  It does look as if there was a concerted attack on both gold and silver.  Most normal people would not dump their gold and silver all at once - surely they would want the best price for them?  The prices of gold and silver had been pushed up over the last few days and it looks as if the big boys have simply been taking their profits.  Maybe the flat line that happened to gold and silver at the same time was a circuit break?
