Grading

Hello all

Can someone advise me about grading coins!!!! I have a few that I am thinking of sending off for grading but seems like a minefield..

I'd rather get them graded in the uk, preferably by NGC but is this possible?

I've done some research but it's all a bit confusing...I'd appreciate some advice please...

Regards..

You can also grade yourself and this way you get to experience the grading process rather than relying on someone else. I know that some people and organisations in the UK offer a very professional service, but there is a lot to be said for self grading.

I have accounts with both NGC and PCGS. FYI NGC in the UK send the coins to the US for grading and you can either submit direct to PCGS in California or via their Paris office. It is not too expensive once you have the initial payments made. You also get lots of other incentives like free grading vouchers and discount off their products.
