Doomsday Package

Yes, madhatter, certainly a gimmick I agree!

You know, I think you're right. In this case, (ease of liquidity, flexibility) sovs are King (pun intended).

If you needed to raise cash quickly, a sov or half/sov would be ideal.

Afternoon forum!

As a follow on question.... these biscuits/slabs/bars that are stored in blister packs....when it is time to sell one, will the new buyer have to open the pack in order to test that it is genuine?

Or trust that as the pack is sealed, it will be?

Cheers,

JB

I know what a doomsday looks like: My country was in a war (1991-1995), 1993 year was the worst, total siege of the country, most people didnt have a minimum food to eat, bombs droping from the sky every day... nobody wanted precius metals. Nobody cared about money. Food was the #1 priority, and trade. Food for food. Or clothes... or gasoline. 1 kg of coffe costed 50 euro! :D 50kg of flower costed 500 euro! But money coulnt buy it, nobody cared about money, we traded a car for bag of flower that year. So, doomsday wise.... I dont believe in one happening again, but if it does, dont think precious metals would be much of a help, to some degree yes, but wouldnt relay completely pn PMs.... food, ammo, gasoline, clothes.... something you can easily trade...

There speaks the voice of experience guys.Says it all do-sent it. Stack only for wealth not for SHTF.

It all depends on which SHTF scenario you are stacking for.

As outlined by SP999and others previously, the war scenario is a different ballgame to the more likely financial meltdown scenario where PMs will be worth holding.
