Hi Guys

Just been offered a couple of larger silver coins, was wondering if any of you knowledgable guys could enlighten be as to rarity and value. They are:

1994 10 oz kook

1996 5 oz libertad

Thanks in anticipation

EDIT: Also a 1993 1oz Proof Kook with Sidney opera house privy, can't find mintage of this issue. Assume there was version without privy mark.

Mintage on the 1994 10oz Bu kook is 11,231 they are not massively collectable  certainly no more than £200 delivered.

If it is a proof out of a Kilo set or 10oz 3 coin set I'd say around £250

Libertad haven't a clue.

The problem with common sense is, its not that common.

5 Oz '96 Lib might actually do quite well. Very popular coins. People like to date run them. Would get well over spot if someone was looking for this for a run - gamble though. You gotta find that one guy! lol the 1996 is the first year they did the 5 Oz version, that might up it's collect ability a little. Mintage is 20,000

If the prioce is right I'd grab it deffo!!

In 1996, the Mexican Mint added two new Silver Libertads, the 2oz. and 5oz..

At the same time, the Mexican Mint introduced a new design for the  Gold and Silver Libertads, featuring the "Winged Victory" Angel design.

The 1996 design continues to be inscribed on both sides of the silver bullion coins.

The Libertad's design and its limited bullion mintage, makes it one of the most highly sought after physical silver investments.

"Libertad" means Freedom in the Spanish language
