It is a $1 coin from the RAM master pieces set issued in 1991 there were 8 coins in the set plus a plaque and the set mintage was 24,000.

 

But a lot of dealers broke the sets up,the cat which is tiny only weigh just over 3 grammes makes $25-30 regularly in Aus,the coins are all .925 sterling silver proofs.

Very nice HR collection Chris. I only have the Lunar Dragon and Horse. Just waiting on the right price for the snake & wedge tailed eagle then I think I will be done with the HR.

I really wanted to pick up the 1oz HR wedge tailed but seeing as the price is so high on the 2ndary Market I might as well get the 5oz HR proof wedge tailed eagle direct from the perth mint for £244. Probably less than 1,000 left.

Yea the wedge tailed eagle certainly isn't cheap. A very nice coin though. I also have a 1oz non HR wedge tailed eagle on the way as well, that's the only non HR proof I have, and will probably be the only one I will get.

These HR proofs seem better value to me, compared to non HR proofs. So I am aiming to collect as many HR 1oz coins as possible. And the rest of my collection will just be of the bullion variety.

Yea, I really need to buy some cheap bullion to offset the high price per ounce. But sadly no money for silver at the moment
