Constitutional silver

Hey everybody just wanted to get some of your thoughts. So in the job I have I come across junk silver coins. It's not all the time but I do find them. So tonight I found my first war nickle. I have found dimes, quarters, and a fue half dollars but this is my first war nickle!! So that got me thinking... junk silver is a big part of my stack. About 25%. So my question is this... do you think you should have some junk in your stack and if so what % do you think it should be???

Personally I am not a fan of junk silver. Silver has only one downside and that is its weight and storage when you start counting your stack by pounds instead of ounces. If you can get the coins for face value which is way under spot, then by all means acquire them. But personally I would eventually swap them out for .999 silver. Not sure if you know but war nickels are only 40% silver...

You can't beat us 90% constatutinal silver or .925 crowns in my opinion love the history and stories behind every piece

I agree with that and that's one of the reasons I acquire them. You just dont know who held it and what they bought with it. I just added my junk up and I have 21.4 troy oz of silver just there and for the most part i got them for way under spot. Still a big fan of .999 though... idk I just love silver no matter what kind it is.😝😝😝

Is US constitutional .90 silver easy to sell when the prices of silver are high?  I was planning on selling at $20-40 silver spot price but was wondering if people pay a lot less or more over spot on US const (junk)

Well as of right now I pay about $11 per $1 face value for us constitutional silver and the price does go up or down depending on spot.

I would also say yes it is easy to sell. I for one love it as does a lot of other people. Right now I'm concentrating on more 999 silver but I always come back to where I began and that's junk!!!

Just because I'm new I was wondering.  Is it easier to sell constitutional silver when prices are high?  How bout when low?  How does it fluctuate at peaks and troughs.  Like is now the time to buy constitutional silver, or is it better to buy the bullion then buy constitutional silver at the highs?
