hi just quick question are the bird of pray series any good ,milk spots, nice to look at once in hand and finish. I've got both on an order 25 of each ,or may change for something else , maybe more panda's. Will be selling 20 of each once delivered .

It goes without question that they are highly likely to milk spot.

I think they are good standard bullion, but as with all RCM billion, they will milk spot over time. I think there will be 4 coins in the series on total.

 

Don't be fooled by dealers stating "Limited to only 1 million coins" lol They are just bullion after all.

 

Nice looking coins though. I think I have a couple and will definitely make sure I have one of each once they are all released.

Yes me too, I sort of hope they won't milk spot but deep down know they will.

 

But that said I already have a tube of each so will complete the set!!!!

 

Maybe they should use a greater spotted hawk might hide a few of them.

they get milk spots  I got the first one in july and that has a small milk spot on both sides now, just got the new one so will see what happens, don't think im going to hold many of these will just get one of each.

Don't automatically assume all or most RCM coins will develop milk spots.

I have many Maples, birds of prey and the full wildlife series of 6 all in tubes of 25 and none are spotted.

I only ever received one tube of Maples containing a few bad coins but luckily all the others are pretty good.

My worst coins are the first release of 2013 Britannias that looked like they came out of a sink incinerator.

To be fair Pete, I have some very good 2013 Brits that I bought on release.

I do think it's fair to say that there are a lot of coins that spot, safest way is Perth Mint in my opinion.
