Getting drunk in New Zealand

Tingles

Recommended Posts

On a trip to NZ and after a few beerz I ‘stumbled’ into a post office and bought this... a few weeks later they won the World Rugby Championship.

I also purchased the cloth stamps and got given part of the sales promotional card as it was the last one in the sleepy town post office.

I’ve never seen it up for sale anywhere... did I make a sound purchase or should I have stayed in the pub???

Any drunken purchases you want to own up to?

Ps... it is 1oz of silver

Is there a way to buying sober? have to try that

It looks like a nice peace of silver with a good story behind it

I am sure someone would buy it if you set it up for sale on ebay

Cheers!

New Zealand Post website sold this and it sold out once they lifted the cup back in 2015, with a limited edition of 2015. Nice coin though.

Yes, that's when we visited.  I'm not sure there's a demand for it, IF I wanted to sell it.

There would be a collector still after one of these but if I had it, I'd rather keep it in my collection.

Saying about drunken purchases, mine are too numerous to mention. I usually have a budget every month but after a few beers I think to myself; 'Just a couple more coins won't hurt!
