Purple Monkey Dishwasher

Greetings Gentlemen

For Christmas 1989 I made my mother buy me my first Sovereign (1863). Since then I have progressed in my collection to a total of four sovereigns (including my first one). That seems to be an average of one every seven years. My last purchase was in 2011, so that seems to indicate my collecting beast has awoken again..

My focus is on Young head shield backs in excellent condition, but given my previous consistency I may lose interest once swiftly!

Welcome :)

A warning though, hanging around here you may quite quickly find yourself with a beautiful collection of coins that you never previously knew you wanted or even existed!

I presume it's the dishwasher and not the monkey that's purple? Both would be ace :P

Hi and welcome. It's a pity you didn't ask your Mum for a few of the new issues in 1989 as they are worth a few bob now.
