As a reminder of our good and also beloved D - Mark, the Bundesbank issued this beautiful gold piece in 2001 in an edition of 1 million pieces. There are 5 mints in Germany, A=Berlin, D=Munich, F=Stuttgart, G=Karlsruhe and J stands for Hamburg. Here I present the mint A for Berlin. These coins are each made of 999 gold and have a weight of 12g. The price per coin was 250 DM at that time. Today, such a gold piece is easily worth around 700 to 800 euros. So you should have bought earlier, but I wasn't ready then. Maxe wishes you all a pleasant day. The Czech lion as the first issue of 2017, minted by the Pressburg Mint in Bratislava. The series is still minted today with changing motifs. So I'll keep an eye on it myself.
