  1. I'm looking at this but I'm a little skittish about pre order..the times have been a joke going from order to deliver.
  2. Full Ultra high relief Ultra high premium collection.
  3. I'm still up there, but they are less...I bought a coin for $1600 then the next week the same coin for $800...but I sold the first one for over $3000 equivalent so I made out but it doesn't mean it wasn't a big boo boo.
  4. I'm thinking this is my next collection, 5 oz hunters by night.
  5. We allmade bad purchase choices at the beginning, like buying one at a time online meant shipping destroyed much of the profitability where rolls make more sense spreading it out but fomo made the inexperienced jump fast not smart.
  6. Hell yeah..I might be listing it on ebay so we'll found out.
  7. I got this in my change, $1 but check out the serial number, I look at all my notes finding star notes and nice serial numbers.
  8. I so much wanted one of these in plastic in the 70s when they were out...darn if my pocket money had been more I'd be a millionaire in just starwars stuff..the falcon in largest condition can be oner $10,000.
  9. This is why I only collect brits in 1 oz from 97..going for all the 1/2, 1/4 etc and you'll be crawling up your own butt before long..I moved to limited mintage new coins, the cost can be silly, being $100 to $1000 an ounce for silver but at least there aren't 6 million of them if not more and art work my grandson could match at 2 years old.
  10. I moved from new silver in proof to antiqued collector pieces cos milk spotting is the curse to ruin coins, even in stabbed form..my 1803, 1798 American silver is black silver so no milk spotting worry, if I slab from new I have to offload quick or take the risk, only Perth seems to avoid the curse, my collection of Britannia are slowly getting milk spots on them..thank you mint..change your cleaning agent already, it sucks...my peace dollar collection means more to me then 2022 coins...history oozing even from beast white stabbed coins.
  11. My ctx3030 sits gathering dust, my PC needs upgrading but I don't like the thought of another $4k in parts to mainly sit there, over 100 games on my ps4p and keep them on my ex had for my ps5, pspp...is enough to not need buying games for a while so I can afford silver goodies...maybe the PC will gather dust and the md's go bye bye along with the ps4p for some more extreme silver .
  12. Being a detectorist and gaming fan I understand, just boughtn a ps5 after 2 years cos my pm buying and dealing didn't give me much time to play and detecting has been pushed to the back too, why spend a day finding a coin you could spend change buying?.
  13. Did you start out as a stacker then become a collector or vice versa?. Did you see your collection as a ways to an end?, a pension assist so you could cash out weekly or monthly to bump up your pension? Have you changed from the person who started it all, going from stacker, to investor, to collector, to buyer/seller, to historical coin collector or moved away from coins entirely?. Tell us your story and how it has changed over time.
  14. I try to help but get some nice attacks for my work, showing one seller how his chibi silver coins are 5% silver scams from China based on no tags to hold the pieces in place (obvious easy to spot)...to telling a guy his Vin number does not match his type of car so it was either a stolen car or a cut n shut..neither very good to have let alone try to sell..lol That'll be me.
  15. Well I was born in the west midlands and lived nr James in the north so two outta three ain't bad.
  16. Yup...but it's a big place, I get lost in all the other nutballs.
  17. I do know you can transport upto $1m in gold to different states but declare them, that doesn't like not telling them..and the $10k limit means leaving tye US, not arriving in another country, like India charges I think 24% on gold coming in over $650 i believe. Close...just a continent off...lol.
  18. I don't name them, it sort of gives my location away.
  19. I just sit there and listen to customers and my lcs owner who sells the gold eagles, stating the fact, I know the 10k limit on cash and the new metal straps in $100 bills setting off metal detectors at the airport if a 10k bundle goes through..I don't believe the smaller strips do that...I know my lcs has a rep that large purchasers rely on.
  20. My lcs has checked into it and uses that info when selling gold, I'd think he gas his ear to the ground better and people buying eagles that can cross $10,000 in face, I don't think silver junk works the same since it's no longer produced...but I don't doubt his knowledge.
  21. I don't know if uk has no records need to be made when buying or selling gold...but it helps inheritors get tax free money from relatives and the $10,000 limit on leaving the country with cash is based on the $50 face of gold eagles so, you could take out 200 eagles and meet the limit.
  22. Then think on your stash as abridge over a recession, you won't kast a lifetime on it but you'll get to the other end of a recession hopefully owning your house, cars and pension while virtually everyone else will be working to the grave. Chickens don't have fur..lol.
  23. The price of metals will plumet the minute they put into 9rbit a metal detecting satellite, the lost will be found and the value will plummet or jump depending on truths of supply approximation versus reality.
