  1. The 2014 Britannia is definitely one of the better proof Brits.
  2. mi e are in jewelry..will post some when I'm next at the sdb.
  3. well proves I've studied ferarris not,micras..,but I did start by saying 'thought', I don't mind being wrong, I buy white diamonds in jewelry in VVS s9 white and clear, but I don't know everything Hensel my thoughts not picking on you for something you'd said that was wrong, I'm all for learning, thats how we all got to this point, no need to look down on or insult...tell me I'm wrong, don't insult me for not knowing your particular selected item....that's real arrogance.
  4. wonderful surprises, I never check online cos it ruins the prezzy..lol..thought I'd get an f15 on an 1803 large 3 50c and came back vf30...was like Christmas morning...lol.
  5. I got a 357 to make em think twice...ex pat works for me.
  6. if we had to do that then nobody would ask a question.
  7. it is but I prefer that to someone else enjoying them at their house after nicking them from mine..lol.
  8. it does that, mines in the full collection post....a black alun box for it but almost full with 44 slots...going to have to go cabinet which remains empty in my house but for showing once in a blue moon
  9. Thought the four C's mattered most, cut, color, clarity, carat..I get the carat of 1ct, but color should be a letter not just hue, pear cut is good, better then marquis which is frankly horrible but princess is best and clarity should be in IF for investment, a 1ct, d color, IF Princess would be about $10000-$12000 and one I'd take any day but the next rule is never to have it set..cos that scratches, chips, brushes etc....investment is just look, don't wear.
  10. Three coin minimums...makes a set look like a set.
  11. I only collect the 1 oz ones...not enough square safe deposit box footage..lo.l
  12. love my deep relief low mintage 3 oz coins, got the warrior women set, isle of man set at real heroes set...they look great.
  13. Yes, they add up, got my mule graded so slabbed
  14. so now mules, front or front n reverse..then the proofs, I think the average proof sits at about $200 each but gets higher...only problem I've found is the more you get the more you have to replace as milk spotting kicks in.even slabbed cant stop it..
  15. I filled my typeset a while ago when the pig was even more expensive and yet more scratches on it...I think for 1 oz brits it takes round 40 coins to cover 97 through 23 with oriental edges, privy, mules, proofs.....and adds up quickly.
  16. There's a lot of duplicates from resubmitting, I'd be interested to know how man6 graded coins upgraded or even downgraded when resubmitted but it's only covered when sending in with the slab still on.
  17. The complete Peace Dollar Date set in ms65 and above (1921 in ms65+), took two years and 5housands of dollars but it's beautiful to see all the Philly sisters together, rare as hens teeth in this grade, cost from $100 to $6000.....my grandson will be one lucky chap.
  18. It's taken two years to complete but it's been fun...now to raise the common dates to ms66 and 67...then some ms65 Denver sisters to add before bankruptcy trying to collect the San Fran sisters in 65...lol.
