  1. I for one don't count the completer as part of the QB set. It is a nice coin I am sure. But the Royal mint shouldn't have released it afterwards. It feels the same as they would suddenly up all the mintages. All this prevents me from buying it or counting it as part of the set.
  2. Yes please, the usual number Edit : Ordered and paid, thank you @BackyardBullionand @ChrisSilver.
  3. Welcome to the forum, and don't worry too much. Some great advice is given and you are in a comfortable spot to be in. Sell the bar in some time (with a little profit) and buy a bag of gold coins
  4. I agree on everything you wrote why you love them, except the bit why you also hate them is a part why I love them even more. I love reading up on them, the varieties, the years, the scarce ones and then all the special stikes. It baffles me that there is so much to learn about 'a simple' coin. There is so much knowledge about these little coins, it can be overwhelming. On the other hand there is so much info on these coins it could also feel like well documenten and can't go wrong when one takes time to read up on them. I started to collect bullion sovereigns with all different years. At this moment i nearly have all bullion years in my collection by now. And therefor i am on the verge of switching from bullion stacker to collector and continue to search for the more scarce, special sovereigns. It is a delicate and slow process as (like you said) there are so many varieties and information. But isn't that what a hobby is? And I am in no rush either.
  5. I don't think so, it is bullion grade right? And if the spots bother you there are ways to make them less obvious/ disappear. I seen many different ways to 'treat' the red spots. From heating up the coin and tin foil and baking soda. I am sure someone can find the right thread for you. Lovely coin btw, even with the red spots!
