There was a webinar last Thursday. It was just for the Ambassadors - we had a lot of questions we had tabled about what was then the upcoming pre-ico, the wallet and so on.
Tom, Andrew Maguire, Nigel Owens and other senior people were there. We got to hear and see them and heard about the new timetable before it was announced publicly. My heart sank when i heard about the new timetable. That there have been some delays and more time is needed to beta test the software but this isn't really what this altered timetable is about.
We were then given as much outline information without releasing commercially sensitive information about events, some by the sound of it very recent. We were asked not to publicly disclose what we had been told. So no-one is talking about this, except in private. Extending the KVT sale, not having such a long pre-ico and extending it all by a couple of months would seem the right thing to do and not rush current developments. There are some big deals being thrashed out right now with entities and people who will not only be investors but are able act synergistically with Kinesis and will knock the project out of the park. Personally i came out of the webinar feeling a lot more positive than when i went in.

I personally like the idea of them giving the little guys the first opportunity to buy the KVT's before institutional buyers. Think of all the big name IPO's over the years where the little guy couldn't even try to buy at the initial price because the big money had first crack at it and drove it sky high.   And I also believe there has probably been a decision made to offer any unsold KVT's to institutional investors after a certain date.  With the business model they are bringing to market, I think Kinesis is better served by having thousands of individual KVT holders who are vested in the business, want it to succeed, will use the system themselves and tell their friends and relatives to do the same, rather then one or two institutional investors who just look at it as an investment entry on their books.  The size of Kinesis' marketing team increases with every new individual KVT owner.  As was said above, they far exceeded the soft cap $ amount that was needed to launch the system, so I am not concerned that it won't happen.  Is it high risk?  Certainly.  There is always the chance that it won't accomplish wide scale acceptability and usage.  But if it does, that high risk gives a high reward.  I look at this as a high risk venture capital investment without my having to have the big $ that the usual venture capital investor has to have to play in the game.  FYI, I have bought KVT's.

The Ambassadors have been promised a webinar where we will field questions we have. There are a good number of questions we have about the upcoming coin sale which starts on 12th November. Don't know exactly when it will be - we are formulating the questions right now. You will need one KVT to mint coins in the pre-ico which runs until March. i think more people here will warm to Kinesis when the coins appear - they are buying gold and silver rather than buying an idea which is what the KVT's are.

A second video from the Kinesis Community - some good information for KVT holders.
The link to the KVT calculator - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DUDzCQ5ZI0EStft4RI6-aHu7wOp34zbR/view
KVT's will get 20% of the top line revenue from Kinesis - this is revenue from the coin transactions and the KCC - the Kinesis Commercial Centre, an online commercial centre - a sort of Amazon but i think is looking to be more expansive than that.
i think some of the projections on the video are on the low side in the worked example but better to do low side projections. Here they are projecting that the KVT's will produce an annual yield of $27 759 per KVT in year 5. Not bad even for an investment that is currently costing $1000 at the moment.
This yield will be paid in gold and silver through the KAU and KAG coins. The KAU's and KAG's could be sold and then reinvested on the exchange to buy more metal to create more KAU's and KAG's which is the minting process. These new coins carry rights to a share of future transaction yields in perpetuity. This will compound up the returns, so in reality the year 5 yield could be higher.
As a rough and ready estimator of value of an asset with yield i say the value is 10x yield - this is an underestimate but again better a low projection than too enthusiastic. So currently KVT's selling at $1000 using these numbers could conservatively be yielding $27 759 and have an value of $277 000. Not bad, which is why i have invested and continue to invest.

Another significant step forwards for Kinesis
SEC-Regulated Hyperion Exchange Signs MOU to List Bullion-backed Kinesis Money Stable Coin
    https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/sec-regulated-hyperion-exchange-signs-mou-to-list-bullion-backed-kinesis-money-stable-coin-1027570604
Hyperion is a respected exchange in the crypto and security token space. It is SEC regulated - important for US investors. KVT's, KAU and KAG are to be listed.
MOU by the way is a memorandum of understanding, a type of agreement between two or more parties expresses a convergence of will between the parties and an intended common course of action.

There is also a new bullish factor in the market that might be as significant as when numerous gold ETFs arrived in 2004 to 2010 that helped propel gold to the 2011 highs. The latest scheme is a gold-backed monetary system cryptocurrency called Kinesis.

There have been some other gold-backed cryptos helping to draw mainstream attention to gold as a safe-haven asset, but it is important to differentiate what Kinesis is. Not only does the Kinesis currency provide a yield, but Kinesis defeats Gresham's Law, which no other gold-backed cryptocurrency does. In fact, Kinesis isn't just another a cryptocurrency, it is actually 100% physically backed digital gold trading via blockchain.
Kinesis was born from the team at Allocated Bullion Exchange (abx.com) who operate an institutional exchange in spot physical precious metals, with partnerships with Deutsche Borse, government postal systems and many others. The physical metal holdings will be inside the ABX secure quality assured environment. The ICO will be the largest in history and was launched September 10 ending November 11. So far there is over $57 million in sales in just the first few days from launch.

Kinesis will be taking physical delivery. Kinesis coins will be title of ownership of audited, vaulted gold and silver. Collectively we will break the paper system.

Tom originally wanted the KVT be distributed to the people first.
The KVT will be sold at some point. It's just a matter of time.
I've got my stake and that's the most important thing to me at this point.

Rengen Labs, a major platform for token offerings with 45 000 registered investors has included Kinesis in their offerings. Kinesis has raised over $50 million to date with 2 months to run in the ITO which dwarfs the $18.6 million average for Initial Token Offerings.

KVT's are a crowd funding exercise. As Martlett says it does not matter as far as UK investors are concerned whether they are security or utility.
Kinesis will not take applications from US citizens who are not accredited investors. i believe there is some fine print details, ' contrivances,' whereby the token has been classified as it has. Much of the subsequent KVT's sold will likely be going to institutional investors. The large Chinese investor i mentioned that came forward at St Moritz is still on the scene - there are others on the scene. There are synergistic deals being done which are being kept within the company so i can't say what is actually going on but Tom was hinting at these a couple of days ago.
As this goes forward the KVT's will slip into the background - those who bought them will be laughing all the way to the Kinesis bank, paid in KAU's and KAG's.

Groundup reacted to Martlet in Kinesis Gold and Silver currency
KVT are securities by any normal definition - they are designed as an investment and provide a share in revenue.  I dont know what contrivance would make it qualify as a utility.  KAU/KAG etc would be utility tokens.  Actually, thats not entirely clear as they too attract a revenue from holding.  I dont think it matters, its only relevant to US investors or few other nations where local laws restrict investment around securities.  There's a bit of an obsession about this in crypto world as it may affect the trade of some tokens for US citizens or US exchanges, though as KVT won't be freely tradable its a moot point.

Same plan here. My plan is to start minting before the full launch, I'm just not clear on whether there's going to be a market (and at what depth) for selling the newly minted coins.
