  1. Pieces from @arshimo2012 and @SiCole, especially thrilled with the 1987
  2. could I take the last 2022, sent pm
  3. could I take that 4 left with the freepost offer?
  4. would be interesting to grab a Credit Suisse 5g gold bar to add to the collection as they've now gone the way of the dodo..
  5. Received a couple 2024 Australia Lunar Series III - Year of the Dragon colored coins As well I picked up a 2023 Australia Chinese Myths & Legends - Colored Green Dragon and Koi coin, shown below, which has a real pretty and textured finish vs the newer Dragon coins which appear flat and a more silkscreened finish, sorry pictures are pants & don't really do it justice
  6. I was surprised the 2024 dragon with dragon privy with 30k mintage was cheaper than the regular dragon 24 with 300k mintage? Are those with privy marks less desirable? Think I managed a pre-order of 20 with the privy mark
  7. Happy, got my hands on a 1997 Britannia set, means getting ever closer to completing my 1oz Brit date run, now just missing 1999, 2000, 2010
  8. haha.. this place is dangerous, all the talk of Perth Mint and seeing images of that pretty lunar series year of the dragon coin I placed a local pre-order for the 1oz Silver BU as well as the BU coin with dragon privy mark.. together with my first kook Though I was confused that the dragon privy was cheaper than the regular dragon coin albeit lower mintage
  9. Appreciate the trust being my first purchase, enjoying the surroundings. No worries on the tube not including a 2010.. means I'll won't need any excuse to keep purchasing more stacks or brits as they come up 😝 I thought I was getting myself more organized, but with all the talk of Perth Mint, I ended up going off on tangents yet again.. this place is dangerous, I'm like a kid in a candy store
  10. I notice they also have a dragon privy variant
  11. I had taken a look at some Republic of China silver dollars coins while here, picked up a year 16 (1927), but find it tough trying to navigate in a foreign language. So mostly stick with collecting British coins, while away I usually have coins shipped locally to my parents, it's then nice to get home and check out all the new additions. The Kookaburrs are nice, I had thought about trying a date run of silver dollars or even buffalo's
  12. Hi Everyone, From Devon, though currently over in Taiwan. Pretty new to all this… Started out a year ago by getting a couple Gold Britannia’s, and then a proof locally here from Truney.. after that finding myself quickly getting hooked, I think I was over zealous, making a few mistakes by paying a premium (ebay prices for a coin or two), so now trying to limit my impulse buys to a more measured & economic approach. Quickly finding the idea of a Gold Britannia date run a little rich for me, I was all over the map picked up a couple UK coin proof sets but recently started focusing on doing a silver BU Britannia date run. Doing ok with that collection, currently outstanding 1997 (which I’ll likely look to pickup a proof set), 1999, 2000, 2010, 2018, 2019 & 2024 to complete that run. On a whim being in Taiwan I had picked up a 2020~2024 run of Australia’s Most Dangerous from LPM, for me postage from them is relatively cheap (note my UK purchases go to my UK address) A bit more on the quirky side, being from the south west I got a set of Lundy 1977 1 puffin & ½ puffin so plan to complete that with the 1929 originals** & potentially a 1965 fantasy set. ** saw @iacabu had a set for sale last year Other than that not sure where to take it next with other affordable common British coin date runs, ideas? Anyway, happy to have run across this site and looks to be a great resource. Happy collecting!
