I do want to make my own ingots and bars though so I think i'm gonna buy 24k grains instead of risking my neck like y'all saying. I didn't realize it was so dangerous. I'll leave the chems to the refiners.

Glad to see people use their silver.
I did use a few of my silver coffee and tea spoons once upon a time! But silver isn't really great for hot drinks, the thermal conductive properties meant you had to show it the brew and get the bag out asap before you scalded your fingers! 😁

I have been on here for a few months buying bits & bobs. I wasn’t sure that this type of trading would work for me, but it has been a great experience to date.
I have a very small collection of Half Crowns and can see that they are mostly graded by NGC etc. This is new to me, the last coin I bought was a 1937 proof from Spink but that wasn’t graded by NGC etc. Are too many coins being graded as there was something interesting about peoples interpretation regarding the grade of a coin. 

Morgan Silver Dollar S mint. I want either a $1.00 face value of mercury dimes for it, or  1oz bar of silver. $30

Seen these going for $5 a piece on a few sites. Are they worth more in pristine condition? I have 15 of them uncirculated

Talked to a buddy of mine that does some refining and he said it's not worth it and extremely difficult. He gave me a number to a guy i could send it to though and just got a hold of some more gold at a good price so that's the route to go

It's crazy how I can find the acids in my area but not the bismuth. What the heck I wanted to do this today.. I work with chemicals daily I think I can handle myself and take the right precautions if I were to do the other method but yea I'm going t read up on if there's any laws that way I don't break any

I forgave a $20 debt for it so that well over spot as it only weighs a 16g but i guess it wasn't a total loss
