  1. NEVER. how else could forum members practice and exercise Schadenfreude.
  2. I'm quite proud of my desk It's got draws and everyfing
  3. Had a few half sovereigns out on the desk a while back. I don't think I ha left them for a second. Then discovered 1 had gone missing. searched every where. I was about to start moving bookcases and my desk when the other half came into the office. Here she said is this yours. The little one had only lifted the bloody thing and was playing shop with it in her bedroom. Think she was only 4 then. She's like a bloody magpie, anything shiny, Whooosh.
  4. I've always admitted it. In fact I've just recently put out a wanted ad and then posted my haul on the TIR thread. I try to keep between 12/1 and 8/1 silver to gold. Love the stuff really. But I also like a bit of fun. Just find the silver crew on the Silver Forum a bit too defensive. Love the place though. That's why I support it with my membership level and always promote it where ever I can. Never be ashamed of any of your stack. Christ I even have copper in mine.
  5. The silver lot are a bit sensitive. Thought I'd be gentle here. 2 reaction's on the gold. both laughter. Nothing here. Most likely a ban or warning points in coming. P,S, As I write, 3 laughter reactions. Either golds more popular or better sense of humour.
  6. As I have mostly been the buyer here. In my experience, both parties wait till delivery. It's been especially this way for me on the old eBay. As a seller you are in the hand's of the delivery company. Whilst most on here use Royal Mail Special Delivery and there are certain guarantees. Actually, in the small print, these implied guarantees are not what they seem. There are several conditions and the delivery before 1:00pm is not a given. Then should the parcel not be delivered you have to wait 9 days before it's considered lost followed by the nightmare attempts to deal with customer services. With all this the responsibility of the seller to sort out. I myself feel as a seller it is only fair that the purchaser confirm delivery and satisfaction before Feedback is given as a seller. Until this has been given, as a seller your dealings and your responsibilities are not over so how could accurate feedback of the transaction be given.

  10. It was offered on the open forum, in a wanted listing. I wouldn't dream of conducting shenanigans. 😉 Yes it was offered to all and sundry This was the way However it was scoff at and ignored It's origins are In a galaxy near and far A coin smaller than a midichlorian was created and thus A photographic challenge was set By the way where's my feedback
  11. If ever there was proof needed that @Charliemouse never veered away from a photographic challenge. This is it. They tell me the die for this coin was created by moving atoms on the die stock under an electron microscope.
  12. @ChrisSilver great sales team you got here Helps with the forum warning points..... Wait no that's the voices in my head. By the way and to get back on track. Gold attempting a slam dunk, Wait for it, Wait for it, Wait for it
  13. I opens up more rooms on the forum for you You'll never look back
  14. There's a special thread for folk to talk about their vices. Up grade to gold membership (think there's an offer at the moment) and you too could be embraced by the folk on the NBS.
  15. Hope I don't get banned for posting silver on the gold thread.
  16. I heard someone say we'd never get above
  17. Instantly draws to the top left. Nice long set of 1887 Jubilee i think. Looks like you have an extra half sovereign instead of the sixpence. Pictures are quite grainy so I could be wrong. Nice collection though. P.S. Welcome to the forum
  18. Fek it. I'm off back in. Some swine convinced me to buy a few kilos of the stuff recently bloody silver. Should have bought Bitcoin. Least I know I've got nothing for my money with that.
  19. My God. What's happened. Silver has fallen nearly £1 an ounce since markets have opened.
  20. @James32 and @ChrisSilver may be the only 2 Grandmasters. One owns the place and the other, The countries it operates in.
  21. I've already had to fess up to spending my savings on an ounce. Will try again.
  22. Can't remember the first time I bought, seams to have blurred in to the others. However, I did make a bucket list purchase of 100 sovereigns. That was a tad bit stomach turning and a ball ache with the bank.
