  1. We’ll have to try and get hold of the buyer and invite them to join the rest of the 8 for a drink
  2. Hahaha Starfish Wars Day from this day forth
  3. Provided you’re planning to hold for the long term, personally, I’d try not to worry too much about what the gold price will do in the short term. 2 Grands worth of gold whether in Brit form or Sovereign, will increase/decrease the same so I’d say consider the spend, as opposed which coin.
  4. My first precious metal purchase was 5 gold sovereigns from the Royal Mint in 2022. Umm’d and Arr’d for days before buying and felt a little panic once I’d pulled the trigger but looking back, was a great thing to have done and paved the way for a lot more gold purchase since then. It’s right to consider options before spending a chunk of cash, especially when you’ve not done it before. Really buzz once you’ve done it though and have it in hand 👍🏼
  5. Think we’ll see a small drop on opening. Israel/Iran all quiet for now could see price ease a little. I have absolutely no qualification or experience to comment but that’s my tuppence worth
  6. ‘If’ being the key word. Were it guaranteed, I’d pile into silver. Sadly, not willing to gamble on it. Fingers crossed for those that do though 👍🏼
  7. Hell, I’d take 1oz Brits all day long if people are happy to take 4 Jubilee/Memorial/Coronation sovs in exchange. Just drop me a PM 👍🏼
  8. Personally I love stacking quarter sovs. Fun to chuck a few more in the tin and see a mini treasure trove grow 👍🏼
  9. If you’re trading pure gold parity gram for gram then I reckon this is a very good deal as you’re not losing any gold weight on the 24k ounce vs the 22k coins. If it’s physical weight you’re trading gram for gram then you’ll lose a little true gold value. Hope that makes sense. Nice deal either way 👍🏼
  10. Will pay £470 posted for a pair from same seller. Feel free to drop me a message. Thanks all
  11. Bloody hell. Must be over 500 billion sovereigns in that lot! Nice work sir 👍🏼
  12. Another 2018 plain edge SOTD sovereign added to the next batch to send to @GoldDiggerDave
  13. Good morning @17RSB thanks for your message. Have had 2 enquiries for this one already but if they pass I’ll come back to you. Thanks kindly
  14. Yes sir. Think I’ll go down the dealer route when I look to cash out in the future and as prices rise I think premium items will start to see premiums fall away so just concentrating on CGT weight for now 👍🏼
  15. Oh not at all. Shields are going for about this value right now. There’s profit in each of them for me and can now sink those funds into plain old 1oz Gold Brits. These were the last few I had left and made me a little more than have got via a dealer. It’s all good 👍🏼
  16. PM’s sent. Please just drop me your addresses once paid. Thanks all and goodnight
