I'm trying to track down the history for three silver jewelry pieces--they each have marks that I'm having a hard time tracing. One looks to be a crescent moon on a bail. There's a grape vine ... with maybe a Greek letter above it on the back of a pendant? The last one are two little markings on the edge of a clasp, maybe fish? (The "800" mark on that one, I know it's a material mark.) Any insights would be very appreciated! Thank you for your time! - Whimz

Hello all! I'm based in the NW corner of the USA. I got hooked on antiques (after growing up a history nerd in general) thanks to my grandmother and great-grandmother's joint collection of silverware and silver tableware. I was researching their origins to sell them, which backfired drastically as I wound up unable to part after the research was done. Nowadays, I freelance as a historical research-writer. I've picked up a lot of info along the way but have also encountered gaps, so set out to find a like-minded community to learn and hopefully be able to offer pertinent help as well! Thanks
