Gutted I only got two of them 2014 koalas, now I've missed the boat.
Was expecting or hoping spot would fall with the NFP, looks like it's going nowhere.

Just tried to go onto STG website and there site is under maintenance until 0300.
A bit suspicious perhaps as we were all expecting a sudden price drop.
-
I've got two currently. A great value coin, good to hold. I'm hoping STG has them in stock and on offer for a while as I want more. I did see them at £118 a few weeks back.£121 for 10oz koala at STG is hard to resist
Does anyone have one? I want to know if it looks better in real life
I'm thinking PM prices will be much lower next week.
-
I'd wait it out too. Ponder over the weekend maybe. Personally I'm looking at the Noahs at the moment currently about £12.58 but were as low as £11.99 that I noticed a few weeks back.Have a large order ready in STG, but not sure whether to wait or order now!!!!

Plenty of reasons to stack silver but one of mine is a hedge against gold confiscation which I think is a realistic possibility when the monetary system and welfare state collapse and gold is remonetised.
-
I'am a gold fan yes but only discovered vat free silver in August so I'm now keen to stack plenty silver too. At least till my gold and silver values are roughly even.Hi Stretch - I thought you were a gold fan? I know the feeling - getting drawn to silver numi and proofs (Libertads my fav, and I feel the need to buy some kooks),, but I know I should really be buying gold!
If I may ask - why these crocs?
I choose the crocs because now I do have a few tubes of most of the cheap coins and crocs were only a little more expensive. I have since noticed that STG has changed their premiums as the spot fell the crocs haven't gone down in price as much as other coins.

Maybe this upcoming Swiss referendum will hold prices up for a few weeks.
-
I notice that gold in pounds sterling is still not yet as cheap as it was in the new year.
-
I'm told there's no support below $16 untill $14.

Just missed my parcel. I'm away but my wife was out walking the dog when UPS decided to call. Could have been an 8am delivery or a 7pm, bloody useless really compared with DPD where you track the courier through individual drops so know exactly what time to be in for.
-
I will not buy any 1kg coins, 10oz is big enough.
Why?
-
Looks like cash is gonna be king for a while with some great bargains to be had after the new year.
-
1 Kilo kook coin
10oz 2014 koala
And a 2oz year of the goat.
And to think STG said they'd never get kilo coins lol
-
I reacon it's going down to $15 as predicted by a few traders for a while now.

What for me is a substantial purchase today and almost doubles my silver stack.
50 maples.
50 libertads.
And as a treat 1 two ounce lunar horse.
My current plan of action is to save till I have enough for 100oz again before making my next purchase, hopefully next month.

It's unfortunate for us with this Scottish referendum even if spot does go down next week we will probably lose out as we already have as the pound continues to fall. I'm thinking I'm gonna make a purchase today, just mulling it over at the moment.

I think it's these Russian sanctions that are possibly being viewed as deflationary by the markets.
-
A quick look through this forum told me STG were sound. Only one order so far which went very well with no problems. I will be ordering from STG again very soon hopefully.
-
Seems to be only geo political events keeping pm prices high. Deflation is looking like a real possibility no matter what the central banks do. If Ebola takes off in a western city I believe silver and gold would fall significantly. Also this Russian sanctions business may well be deflationary for pm's.
-
If I was to make a wish Simon13 that would be for our government and the Americans to mind their own business and concentrate on domestic issues such as debt, deficit and suppressed interest rates.
-
Not cleared £12 then but I'm sure Russia will oblige with some ass kicking in Ukraine to send PM's higher for a while soon enough.Looks like silver's gonna pop over £12 again.

Ouch!! I placed an order earlier and then the price tanks, typical.
Silver Monitoring Thread £ (GBP) only.

I'm thinking this is a seasonal high and we're gonna get some new lows in January. I'm in two minds if to make a purchase now or keep saving the fiat for a larger purchase in the new year.
