Should really abandon trying to collect this series in 2oz silver as never have a spare £200 come queue day. I could've ordered one today - even had it in my basket - but just don't have the funds available atm & was disciplined enough (for once) not to just pile it on my credit card. 🙇♂️ 🤣

Definitely looks better than the one in the promotional photo posted on pg 52. Maybe it was just the angle of the coin in that first image that made it look to have not the sharpest strike.

I'm kind of in the same boat but in reverse so maybe we could come to an arrangement hehe? I'm not sure I can carry on collecting these in 2oz so thinking of swapping my 2oz Henry for a 1oz. I don't have any of the James' but now have (pending successful delivery) both a 1oz & 2oz George!

Gives the impression that while the whole rest of the world is about 100x more technologically advanced compared to 300 years ago, the Royal Mint has somehow managed to devolve in that time!

It's definitely to keep. I collect both historical & modern RM coins & know I'm going to be collecting this whole series so would be nice to not have to pay 2nd hand prices for every release! Thanks again. Just message me whenever your ready to conclude things. 😇
