  1. Good observation 👍 imagine a newby making a general enquiry about the price of a shiny Gold bar they had seen on the news? 🤣
  2. 👍 here’s a link also to BBC footage this morning regarding GOLD. I will explain, I am not a fan of the bbc 🤬 but they do have a large following, as untrusting of them that I am this may? Drive further sales volume & price?
  3. Don’t mind “Talk Tv” on in background when at home, some presenters not as good as others. Can get a bit lively with phone in chat too 👍 I save the Radio stations for when in my car. Remember Grandad? telling me of a popular radio station back in his day, they had massive followers for a Sunday evening radio show for a ventriloquist act. 🤣
  4. Should have mentioned BBC is not my go to for news. (Not a fan🤣) Generally on in background when getting ready for work. With a balanced viewing platform across many news outlets you get a feel for the various BS and narratives being promoted
  5. Wow was just greeting ready for work and caught tail end of a news item on the BBC (maybe business news?) about the price of gold increasing. Should this be repeated throughout the day? Might wake up a few people 👍 normally gold news is so suppressed in MSM
  6. I believe this site to be accurate? 👍
  7. I do like my coins, just need 2 of these to make a round number £53 Then up up & away 👌🤣
  8. Some have a preference for Sovereigns?, the guy who offered me lousy price for my 1oz bullion coin paid on the button spot for a sovereign I sold on behalf of my daughter. maybe he had an onward buyer? So an easy transaction for him?
  9. Unfortunately no COA or capsule just a plastic jacket,, 🤣 however was bought from respectable dealers ATS London, I can but dream of high value but honestly believe it’s a bullion coin? thank you again for insight and advice. 👍 all a good bunch on here x
  10. Thank you 👍 no harm in sending them an e-Mail, if I manage to sell anywhere that price I’ll treat myself to buying some more bullion. 👌
  11. Not my favourite but I treat them all well🤣
  12. I seen the article saying only 100 Limited mint, don’t think mine is one of them, probably one of the more massed produced in circulation?
  13. Thank you, was aware of Atkinsons and there generous buy price, good feedback again from here, just the worry of posting, the time it arrives at destination price could have massively fluctuated. My stack is generally as you mentioned, the odd one out being the Rwandan coin which came in a mixed bullion purchase, at quite a high price too, but when price is right it will be first to go 👍
  14. Haven’t quite got round to buying or selling here just yet. Technically still a virgin, but thank you for trying to pop my cherry 🤣
  15. Attempted to sell a 1oz gold Santa Maria Rwandan 2017 series when recent ATH to local dealers. Both offered 12% under spot. 🤣 Just a bullion coin I believe unless anyone interested in it for collection purposes? Not at -12% though. The roller coaster prices can cause exhilaration and Agitation. Fairly new to the Gold market, all a learning curve, made some poor purchases in past, including some good. will hopefully keep acquiring a bit of knowledge and banter from this site as I tune in from time to time.
  16. Thank you all for replying, maybe she had read somewhere about the short tail version? believing it more valuable. Any how gold is gold still beautiful to look at, & hopefully off to the moon again I jest 😎 will settle for the clouds lol
  17. Good evening joined a few years ago but haven’t posted for a long time, excuse me if posted in wrong place? My partner had a mounted sovereign, sold mount but kept coin. Believes it’s worth more than a simple bullion price? if she decides to sell. Would appreciate any info from the clued up forum members on a fair price if she decided to sell in future. thank you in advance John
  18. It’s been a wait!, bought my first just before the ATH then some more including bits and pieces at lower prices. think it’s called cost averaging? Anyway finally in profit should I cash in, thanks but no thanks 👍 been pissed off with the amount of manipulation and suppression witnessed over the last year in regards to gold price. Hopefully not going to be so easy for them in future? time will tell
  19. Will be interested to see if it can differentiate coins that are encased in other metallic objects ? Surely if you had some sovereigns etc hidden inside an old car engine block for example?
  20. Thanks for replies including some banter along the way, For some Comedy Gold 🤣 I’ll leave you with this
  21. Sounds good 👍 they will need to be small. might make me loose concentration on my steering though 😉
  22. DYOR sorry couldn’t resist 🤣 try google
  23. What is the play here? By the TPTB and their stooge politicians. The current Fiat banking system, does appear to be on its last legs? New systems are being orchestrated in the background. Would appreciate feedback, wise heads on here. What are your thoughts? the manipulation of our stacks by invisible hands is frustrating!!! https://www.thelibertybeacon.com/frances-macron-just-gave-away-the-plot-with-his-outside-voice/
  24. Get creative not too difficult, something metallic of no significant value that’s worth taking, that is also hollow, old bike frame rusty radiator, fire extinguisher etc, you can even buy fake tin cans disguised as baked beans etc. Great for hiding small amounts of gold and have it in different places. Won’t loose all your stash then. how ever if it’s a SHTF moment the thief might be looking for food!!
