Low mintage means nothing to me when I have doubts as to the authenticity of a coin I simply sent it back and they sent another that was fine, I don't know if the test before or after they got it back, or scrapped it

Why do you think this particular coin is fake? I ask but I returned a 1925 SA half to a dealer this week as it just didn't sit right with me at all

It's the diameter and width is throwing me, it's weight and magnetic test seem OK I just can't fathom why it's bigger lol

Was bought from Hatton garden metals as part of 5 It's 4g exactly, though it won't fit in a 19.5mm capsule unlike other half's and is obviously thicker as well I've run a magnet over it and no problem with that
