closed Morgan and Peace dollars in high grades

I have for sale a selection of Peace and Morgan dollars

Some lovely examples here with minimal circulation and many with cartwheel lustre.

Grades are my opinion only using the American grading system - please observe photos and grade descriptions. 

Prices are plus post.

 

Year: 1896

Mintmark: P (Philadelphia)

Mintage: 9.97 million

Grade: Mid AU with edge bruises by "E", the date and the tip of wing. Trace of mint lustre to reverse

Price: £36

 

 

 

Year: 1881

Mintmark: P (Philadelphia)

Mintage: 9.1 million

Grade: High AU or MS with wonderful lustre and beautiful surfaces to obverse and matt tone with underlying lustre to reverse. Tiny knock to edge of reverse.

Price: £55 SOLD

 

Year: 1885

Mintmark: P (Philadelphia)

Mintage: 17.8 million

Grade: AU with just the beginnings of wear seen on breast feathers. Slight knock to rim on reverse. Some mint lustre and gentle toning

Price: £45

 

 

Year: 1888

Mintmark: P (Philadelphia)

Mintage: 19.1 million

Grade: Low AU with bag marks and general wear across both faces. A trace of lustre.

Price: £45

 

 

Year: 1886

Mintmark: P (Philadelphia)

Mintage: 19.9 million

Grade: Low AU/High EF with some  bag marks and light wear to high points. Trace of mint lustre to reverse.

Price: £40

 

 

Year: 1887

Mintmark: P (Philadelphia)

Mintage: 19.9 million

Grade: High AU or low MS with beautiful lustre and attractive surfaces to obverse and matt tone with underlying lustre to reverse. Bag mark on eagles breast.

Price: £55

 

Year: 1922

Mintmark: P (Philadelphia)

Mintage: 51.7 million

Grade: High AU or low MS with cartwheeling lustre and some with some weak areas and slight toning
