I recently got one of these from @ccfcpaul and they are a really nice coin. The dragon design doesn't measure up to the Perth Mint design, but it's still a great coin.

To be honest Perth Mint are leading the way with many of their coin designs in my opinion. So it's difficult for Asahi to compete with them, when it comes to the design of the 2024 Lunar Dragon.

Yeah the head on this design is a lot smaller than Perth's so doesn't stand out as much. I've not had the Perth mint in hand yet so is difficult to compare.

 

The GSM dragon version is probably my favourite out of the dragons

i collect all the dragons but the Perth Mint just know how to design coins.

They're both beautiful coins.  I'm also off on holiday in 2 weeks but I'm still buying the odd bit here and there. I'm also selling stuff too. Gotta keep the merry-go-round spinning lol 😆

Haha gotta keep them plates spinning eh. Gran Canaria for me. See when funds I have afterwards to go get an order in from the states.
