*cheapest price you will find on the internet. Seen some sellers asking 20k for it. Not an expert when it comes to diamonds or emeralds I don't know anything about them. All I know is this price can't be beaten.

Well I am. Sort of. Most people think diamonds are worthless. It's certainly true until it gets above certain size and quality criteria when every penny is worth it for those who can afford. A 100ct D IF is not the same as 100 1ct bits (more like 10,000 of them or more)

Same goes for pretty much all gemstones including emeralds. But conditions, e.g. provenance, jardin, colour are more prominent, and the difference in emeralds' grades is much more conspicuous than in diamonds.

If I were to spend £4M on gold, I'd go with 10,000 sovereigns (or an Edwadr VIII 5 sov and one Vigo 5 guinea). If I were to spend it on a diamond, I'd want the biggest single piece not thousands of them. Once you enter a domain where liquidity is less important than desirability, and there are only so many guys who can afford it, you'll want the best.

The stones on the coin probably aren't worth much, but the design is beautiful. Mind you that all numismatic coins sell above sopt so intrinsic value doesn't come as the single price factor in a buyers' market.

Is a nice coin ,wish it was not out my league at present ,the emerald is a nice touch too ,I think diamonds have had there day to be fair just wedding traditions keep them alive as they can create them nowadays any size and purity then fob people off saying it was found in the depths of the Nile and give it a fancy name even the pros can’t tell the difference between the natural and man made ones so I wouldent invest anything in diamonds today I’d rather the emerald than the diamond for sure

Depends what diamond I suppose I have purchased A 1ct vivid yellow diamond about 6 months ago GIA certified which I have done well with 

But agree emeralds and ruby's have alot of eye appeal and this coin is a belter set with the emerald  it's one of those you will never see again so good chance for someone to buy

Yeah diamonds or not it’s better than any coin in my collection ,swap you a hell of a lot of silver for it if you were interested
