closed Gold and silver pandas in MS69 grade

Recommended Posts

I have for sale three graded pandas.

Prices include Special Delivery. Buy multiple coins for a £10 discount :D

2003 1/4oz gold, frosted bamboo version.

Official mintage of 28,000, of which only around 5000 remain. The number of NGC-graded mirrored bamboo quarter ounces actually outnumber the frosted bamboo. In MS69 there are only 67, and in MS70 only 17!!

£550

1990 1oz silver, Large Date (Shanghai mint) variety

Official mintage of 200,000 of which 69,000 of the Shanghai mint estimated to survive. An MS70 is en exceptionally rare with only 14 having achieved this grade and would fetch multiples of this price if you could find one at all. So if you want this coin, settling for MS69 is probably a safe bet!

Stunning example coin with superb contrast of frosted design over mirror fields which is much more pronounced than on the Shenyang version I have.

£110

2003 1oz silver

Official mintage of 600,000, of which less than a quarter probably remain. The 2003 is a real triumph of a design and certainly my favourite in the series.

£110
