closed Would like to swap my Young Head Shield sovereign for a 1957 Gillick in good condition...

Hi All,

hopefully a simple one - wanted a '57 Gillick for a while now to complete the full set, and was looking at the spreadsheet when I realised I have a lone Young head shield... 🤔 it's an 1869, die number 41 ( Spink 3853,  Marsh 53) with a little toning.

So... if there's anyone who might like to exchange a '57 Gillick sovereign for said shield, do get in touch and I'll retrieve it from the Box and take some new pictures for you and we can go from there. (do have a couple from the seller at the time I bought it, but happy to take some clearer shots before someone commits to a swap 👍)

Cheers,

Bob

Thanks to all who have responded!

I'll be taking some new pics tomorrow and passing them on to the interested parties, as well as receiving some pics of their '57 Gillicks.

If a deal is struck, I will mark the exchange complete - if not, I may be open to selling the shield and sourcing a '57 Gillick myself - watch this space! 😁

Cheers,
Bob
