Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has ordered from The Crown Mint recently?  I ordered a silver coin in mid December but it still isn't showing as dispatched.  I've emailed a couple of times with no response so far.

Have since seen them being re-sold on ebay UK so assume there must have been at least one dispatch as I believe this coin was exclusive to TCM.

Not sure if it's just a waiting game or if I should be pushing them for an ETA?  

At the other end of the scale, I ordered another coin from EMK in Germany early January, was dispatched next day and arrived within a week with very detailed tracking info the whole time.  Wouldn't hesitate to use them again. 😀

Thanks.  I've now had an update from them after a 3rd email.  No more stock of this item until at least Feb.  Not really good enough when I ordered mid-Dec and it was showing as 'in stock' at the time.  Still shows as 'in stock' now.  It's not a pre-order item.

I've heard from other sources that TCM services have gone downhill lately, taking money for items that they never send.  I'm still contemplating whether to have a refund or wait and see if I get an ETA at the the beginning of Feb.

Update on this.  Now beginning of March and still no dispatch confirmation, let alone any sign of the coin.  I did email again in mid Feb but got no response.  I feel like I'm being taken for a mug now...

Just wondered if anyone else on here was still waiting on items from TCM?

Well their website is back up.  Hopefully they were just updating things on the backend.

I'm going to try and email them again and see if I get any response.

I really hope they get things back on track.  Some of my coolest  and most iconic collectible silver proof coins have been from them.  (all Marvel)

They were supposed to have a special Dr. Strange coin come out a few months ago, but it never came to fruition.

I emailed the guy I've been in contact with over the last year and he emailed back really fast.

Said the website broke for a week but they worked hard and got it back up.  

He also said there were a couple of hiccups with 2 of the minis and that they had responded to all emails and calls.

So if you are still having problems I would contact them through their website and you'll get a response.

I also emailed to check about the website going down and got an almost immediate response to that.  So I replied politely asking for an ETA on my missing coin and never got another response.  That suggests they are purposely ignoring people that are still waiting.  After having lied to me about when it would be dispatched in the first place.  

They can certainly 'talk the talk' when they do reply, but in my experience you can't trust anything they say.

If the coin is genuinely delayed then I don't mind waiting, but what I can't stand is being lied to and ignored with no truthful updates.

Just wondered if you've been through that process yourself? 

I paid nearly 6 months ago now, so possibly too late, but looks like the only option I've got left when TCM still won't respond to messages regarding this item.

I have ordered a couple of coins from them. They charged me right away. One was sent and I received it without any proof of authenticity. I have emailed them 3 times and never got a response. Their website it constantly down. I contacted them via facebook as well, never got a response. At this point I just want my money back so I never have to deal with them again. If they are having technical issues, they should at the very least specify that on their end. Terrible customer service.

I'd be very surprised if you get your money back from them now.  I never received any more contact from them.

They prevented any comments being added to their latest Facebook post but if you check 'all comments' on the one below that you can see just how many customers they've been doing this to over the last couple of years...and that's only the ones that are vocal on social media, the real number will be much higher.  I'm struggling to believe that this is a 'technical issue' any more.

I did get my money back eventually through my bank.  It wasn't easy due to the length of time TCM had strung me along (which I now believe is part of their scam).  The best suggestion I can offer you and anyone else reading this is to start a refund request through your bank and never buy anything else from TCM.  I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but this has gone way too far now.
