Hi James yes you can, but 2.5 are more common. It's the price range, as it allows me to buy some silver too 😉

Ahh that's good to know ☺️ 

Here's my logic for what it's worth, if you were to buy 2 x 1g bars at £53 each of Andrew @arphethean and one of his elemental storage contraptions for £10, it may work out cheaper than a carded bar? And give you something to work towards filling.

I like to buy the pre-dip dip

Does the fact that the gold is uncarded make it more difficult to sell in the future?

Honestly and this is just my opinion, no especially if selling on here. Its easier to test a naked bar than a carded one for most people. 

The cards protect the gold but certainly don't guarantee its real. Hence me also mentioning the storage idea he has also.

Plus if you were to stick with purchasing from @arphethean then there's a trail of purchase/ownership, if that makes sense.
