Perth Mint's Famous Lunar 3 Series?

Recommended Posts

I like it. I have the half, one and two ouncers in silver. Like the designs so far, but appreciate they won't be to everyone's taste. The mouse is my favourite so far. I also really like that the 2 ouncers actually look like 2 ouncers, not a lazy assed piedfort a la RM.

I really like the concept of having adult and baby.  Reminds me of Next Generations series.  I have been collecting regular 1 oz silver and dragon privy.  9 more years to go.  As I said in another post, Yikes!  I'll be 70 then,  God willing.

It’s my favorite series!

I would agree that the mouse is the nicest design so far, and am least impressed with the Tiger (but I do like the gold Tiger). Also heartily agree with the nice 2oz size being far superior to a piedfort since there is more room to show off the artwork. In that vein, I wish they would have kept the larger and thinner dimensions from series 2, but oh well.

So far I’ve been collecting the half, 1, 2, and 5 oz sizes. Also have a couple proofs and a couple colored versions (which turned out very tasteful IMHO). No kilo versions yet, but would like to have at least one. The kg with privy seems awfully expensive though, so I’m on the fence about getting any of those.

There are some 1/4 OZ silver coloured coins too.
