Strange ring...

Hi there everyone,

 

I'm posting this here because I'm not sure what on earth this ring is that I've had in my jewellery box for so many years....!

I think it was given to me as a young girl by my (late) aunt.  No idea how old it is or where it came from - I wondered if I could humbly ask anyone on here if they can give any idea as to the type of ring it is, what it looks to be made of...anything to identify it would be really helpful.

Is it a scrap metal/broken glass homemade bodge-up...is it antique...not sure!  Any thoughts very gratefully received!

Could you take it to an antique dealer locally? Maybe they have an idea.

It certainly is!  Be nice if its value made up for its ugliness!!
