Pre-ordering precious metals from dealers

Recommended Posts

Could dealers that are invoved in the pre-ordering method of selling pm's tell us what a satisfactory lead time in when a item is advertised as pre-order and the dispatch of the items from their inventory.

Obviously the dealers and their customers have a very different idea of what is acceptable. T&C's maybe a legal standpoint but customers want a excellent customer service!

Even RM does this, only they know how long it will be before they have a particular coin minted and ready for sale. With them I think it is ‘how long is a bit of string’ (within reason)

I really was thinking  a bit more of just pm dealers but better comunication all round would be great. Places like the royal mint releasing poor unchecked products should be a thing of the past. I would really like for a product to be ready to ship quality checked before sale of the item begins. Obviously publicity would start long before this to create the buzz of a new high quality coin being released from the rm. I'd love to get some quality products again from them but unfortunately it's an amateur set up there.
