Hi ,

I have acquired this from a good friend  and I would like to have few more informations on this because I only know that the mintage was very low and it is in full gold but I do not know the value of such a coin , I weight it in the past it was around 4-5 oz.

He got it by the time he lived in China.

Thanks for helping me ,

Tyrrrano

Ok thank you , I will ask him if he knew about the fact it was gilded cupronickel, I admit I'm surprised :( but..  well it is still a great design on the obverse .

I'm not saying for sure your coin is gilded, it's certainly not unusual to use the same design on different metals, that's just the only thing I could find in my short time searching that matched

Probably worth doing some tests though to see what it's made of

In fact , I tested with a quite strong magnet (neodymium) today but it didn't react so it doesn't seem magnetic
