Why the hell is the Royal mint out of bars?

Recommended Posts

The Royal Mint has been pretty much completely out of stock on all gold and silver bars for weeks and weeks now. Every now and they they will add 1 or 2 10g gold bars or something which im guessing they just find laying around in stock rooms or something? As its only very few of them are listed, but they just sell out immediately. WHY are they doing this? They always have plenty of bullion coins and proof coins, so they are not "out of precious metals" or anything. I collect Royal Mint Bullion and this is very frustrating as I can't buy any of the items I want to buy.

Looks like they don't want our money! If you can't spend your money with them look for someone who will supply you what you want.   I've had to return my 1oz gold Una & the Lion bar, as the case was cracked.  Some muppet thought It was a good idea to send it a cardboard sleeve with 2x 10oz silver bars smashed to S***.   In the process of sorting this out  I'm half waiting for a email saying now they can't replace it as they have sold out, it's odds on favourite!
