Good data sources for silver price analysis, APIs, public spreadsheets?

Hi guys,

I code in Python using the free Quandl package and the LBMA has a few free APIs for silver, gold and maybe a few others. I was able to produce my SMA50, SMA200, RSI and MACD visualisations. But I was wondering if there were other good and free data sources I could use. I am happy with delayed data as long as it's free or relatively inexpensive and provides more than just the closing price. For example, the opening, high, low prices could be very useful. Price data of higher granularity such as hourly or even down to the minute could also be very useful.

I am also interested in the COT report data, which I should be able to get every Friday off the CFTC. But I need to educate myself on how to analyse it first. Are there any good sources you recommend for this?

Thanks,

Alban

1st AQUIRE a damned good "CRYSTAL BALL"! IMHO 😉🤣🤣

CFTC/COT/COMEX (CRIMEX) et al are all in bed together and as about as trustworthy as a "COBRA with a Hissy fit"!

I am aware that the market is manipulated as hell, and many say that any technical analysis is a fool's errand. But I can't help noticing that silver is often on sale on Fridays. The next thing I found out is that options expiry day is once a month on a Friday, and the non-farm payrolls is also a monthly report also published on a Friday. And the CFTC COT report is published every Friday. Thanks for the TradingView tip, I'll check it out.
