I have mentioned Royal Mint misinformation and propaganda previously, in various "topics", plus on our websites, and Flickr.

I found the latest example only today:

The Last Circulating Half Sovereigns 1914 Royal Mint Advert Daily Telegraph - Misleading and Inaccurate

I suggest that anyone interested in knowing more should click the image, which takes you to the Flickr page with the image, and my "usual" lengthy description.

These are for the 95th birthday, amongst others - 'My Heart and My Devotion' being the tag line for the birthday, it seems. Who is in charge of the 95 bumps? They have thus far been able to stop Charles being involved.

Also Alfred the Great and the Royal Albert Hall, it seems...........interesting times. Not to mention the Griffin at long last...........
