GS.be and European Mint Post Brexit VAT ??

Just wondering if anyone knows for sure about VAT on silver purchased and paid for before the end of December that is not shipped until early New Year.
GS.be offer storage and with several new 2021 releases I am building up to save on shipping.
However these dealers will not ship until orders are complete and with CV-19 etc some coins due may be delayed.
Because invoices are fully paid meaning VAT is also paid, how will this apply after December 31 ?
I appreciate that our transition period will have ended so there is no longer freedom of movement of goods but goods on which VAT has already been paid ought to be covered.
Anyone really know the answer, otherwise technically you would be paying double taxation ?

Ultimately it is going to come down to the customs and duty man on the border when the parcel comes in.

You might well be able to claim double taxation and get your money back (no guarantee though) and that process is going to take months and months.

My personal opinion is that come January 1st customs officers are going to be so swamped and have no clue what to do that a blanket approach of tax everything will be taken.

Best to get everything shipped before 31st December and wait for the dust to settle and the new trade agreements to be negotiated.

That's the plan BUT I guess you know how getting 'you know who' to respond to requests actually goes !!
Thanks for your input.
